Encounter of a Mother with her Child

(Play #4)

(Jeannette of Nazareth is sitting by the sandy edge of Gatineau River observing the gentle waves movement greeting her softly in a peaceful heavenly rhythm; consequently, she was lifted in an ecstatic experience far away from this world feeling like a free bird)

v    Greeting to you, Jeannette!

(Jeannette of Nazareth lifts up her puzzling looks and see no one there. However, she feels an inexplicable interior joy in her heart beating faster and faster. She does not answer as she saw no one there. So, continues to scribble on the wet golden brownish sand with a tree branch carried out with an innocent child spirit)

v             Hello Jeannette of Nazareth! I love you!

Ah! Its you, Mama? Greeting to you, blessed Mother Mary full of grace (1) ! What are you doing here?

v             I watch over you, and I follow you everywhere, my child.

Why do you do this, dear Mother?

v             Because I love you; am I not a Mother?

Yes, of course! You are Mother of all mothers, blessed is your Name amongst all women (1) ever existed and who will exist on this planet for centuries to come!|

v             So, are you surprised to see me close to you, dear child?

Yes, Mother! I always finish by understanding; even though, I tend to absorb things very slowly as I compare myself often to a turtle. I admit that I am not fast enough to figure out things.

v             So, my daughter, what are you drawing on the sand?

Oh! Just series of hearts and crosses alternatively. What do you think of it, Mother?

v             What the J (s) and the M stand for;?

Ma! Didnt you figure it out yet? Its:  Jesus of Nazareth, Jeannette of Nazareth, and at the centre Mary of Nazareth who bonds us together now and forever.

v             And Joseph? Did you forget him by any chance, my dear child?

Oh no, Mom! Not really! I simply wanted so badly to be in your group and amongst this Holy united Family, who I love so much.  But there isnt enough space to add four initials. There are too many J (s).

v             Do you think really that there isnt enough place for you in our heart?  Yet, we always loved the whole world across ages and ages? Come on now! Think about it for a minute. Okay?

Yes, of course! You are 100% right, dear Mother! Oh Ma! I remind you again and again that I am just too slow to figure out things even in small things. For, I was born for simplicity and poverty (2).

v             No! I shall not make comments on your favourite clich(2) So, tell me, my daughter, I see tears flowing on your pale cheeks. What is wrong, my dear child?

I dont know, Mother! My breath is getting a little bit too short along these exhausting long years. It seems as if everything is going wrong in my life All I wish is to glorify Jesus and also bring honour to you, but everything tend to cost money. Money! Evil money! Money! I am tired of this world of egoism and materialism! We can do literally nothing without this evil monstrous money (3). Didnt God give Humanity all things for free? Didnt He, Mother? Please answer me, and tell me whether I am wrong. True or false? I am falling in a total sombre despair. My fear is to die without succeeding to fulfil my big dream (to have a combination of AFM of Peace and the alternative therapies service centre) to help heal people spiritually, morally, and physically. Ma! I would like so much to succeed and bring a big VICTORY to God, our Heavenly Father the Omnipotent who never stops filling all Humanity without favouritism for days and nights with so much blessings and love.  I am not even able to offer Him the minimal expression of gratitude or act of appreciation for all He blesses us with endlessly. So much everlasting love, and so much mercy is poured on all Humanity across centuries. Oh dear Lord of all Love of all love, Beauty of all beauty! Blessed be your Holy Name among all Humanity now and forever!

v             I understand very well what you mean, my child. Life is a constant battle. However, you should not get discouraged half way of the Road to the Cross.  You should persevere right to the end in this battle, Jeannette.  Do you understand me? You should go right to the end, and please never stop half way of the battle. Otherwise, you know the potential inevitable consequences which may take place? Hold on tight right to the end, my dear child, and never look back Go right to the end. Okay?

But dear Mother, life on Earth is not easy! It is a Way of Cross, and filled with thorns, great obstacles, and high thick walls which man built for himself.

v             But remember something you may have forgotten, my dear child: what is impossible for Man, is possible for God (4).  Have faith and confidence in yourself, and please do not get discouraged easily. Didnt you ever read this specific verse in the Bible?

Yes, of course, dear Mother and more. As I said, I integrated this verse in the first play Heaven inspired me to write: VICTORY over Pride, Shyness, and fear of Ridicule.

So, Jeannette! Come one now. Just a little more courage! We are all behind you! You should know that your earthly mission is far from being achieved You should win this race and achieve this noble peace goal right to the end! Perseverance, my child! Okay?

I thought the contrary. Oh Mother, do I have to? For, I am getting old and I am very exhausted! Look at me! After all, I am not twenty any more. You know? (5)? I reached 55; besides, I am found in a total solitude. I do not have enough people who support this noble peace mission. As a result, I am often too discouraged. I am so anxious once for all to see this role come to an end. Totally finished!

v             Come on now! Have confidence in yourself, my dear child! Its not the end of the world. Enough is enough! (5) Didnt you learn by any chance that in the history of mankind during the life of the prophets, God did wonders using nothing but minimal simple tools to get many big missions accomplished. Think of Moses for example. You should reason  beyond all visible physical limits. Heavenly Father, isnt He the Creator of Heaven and Earth? Why cant He produce great wonders through you as He always did in the past  since Genesis, and is still doing till this very moment? Isnt He? After all, tell me for a minute, my dear Jeannette, what can hold Him from fulfilling His will? Isnt He the Omnipotent and is above all materialism and all things? Tell me now, yes or no?

Yes, dear Mother! Youre absolutely right! You remind me instantly of a song I composed in 2002 entitled: Beware my Child/ Illusion of a Child (6) where I condemn money, and I end up the song with this sweet clich I repeatedly tell my three children: And so, you see, I told you million times? Mothers are always right! Do you still have any doubt?

v             So, my child, courage! Everything will be all right! Do not worry anymore! Put your faith in your Father, His beloved Son Jesus, and me; and in no time, you shall see miracles happening! Youve got to believe it. Patience, Jeannette! Just do your best, as Charles Mercieca taught through his peace conferences,  Do your best, and God will do the rest . and vice versa.

Can you promise me, my child to hold on to the end without going backward. Do just like Joan-of-the Arc and King David? Remember always to never look back. Otherwise, you already know the consequences of the woman who became a statue of salt for making this error as stated in the Bible. These two above heroic personalities (Joan-of-the Arc and King David) and thousands alike in the history of mankind should always be a source of courage and inspiration to you and to all whom  you meet in this earthly ephemeral journey. Fix your eyes firmly, without any distraction, directly to God alone before Humanity,  money, all physical pleasure, or other. Okay?

Okay dear Mother! I will. But remember! Youve promised to stay by me at all time right to the end of my life. Will you keep your promise, Ma? Please, say yes!

v             Yes, my dear Jeannette of Nazareth, I shall be always near you and by everyone who will search for us, and open widely their heart for us with a firm trust. Total confidence! I love each and every one of you! I love you, my dear children! Come closer to me! I love every one of you! I love you! I love you! I love you! (7)

(This sentence was repeated endlessly while the sweet Heavenly Mother gentle voice diminishing gradually).

I love you dearly, Mother! I love your Son Jesus! I love you Papa! I love you Joseph! I love you with all my soul from the bottom of my heart! I love you! I love you! I love you!

(This sentence was repeated endlessly while the sweet earthly mother gentle voice was diminishing gradually).

May Joy and Peace reign on Earth now and Forever! Amen!
